Dr. Rachid Hedjam received his MSc degree in Computer Science and Operations Research from the University of Montreal in 2009 and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS), University of Quebec, in 2013, graduating with highest honors. During his doctoral studies, he was awarded the FQRNT doctoral scholarship and ETS scholarships and received numerous academic awards. In October 2013, he began his postdoctoral research at the Remote Sensing Laboratory at McGill University, focusing on multispectral image processing and pattern recognition for cultural heritage preservation, forensic applications, and remote sensing, funded by FQRNT. In 2017, Dr. Hedjam joined the Department of Computer Science at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman, conducting research in machine learning, including clustering, classification, and change detection with applications in network security and remote sensing. Currently, he is an assistant professor of Computer Science at Bishop's University in Canada and an active member of IEEE and IEEE GRSS. Additionally, Dr. Hedjam serves on various conference committees, including M2GARS, MedPRAI, UVS-Oman, and IC.
